Besides a BA in English Literature (first class from Cardiff University) I have extensive writing experience in a number of fields:

• Academic: I completed a PhD and published a peer-reviewed paper reporting its results.
• Business: I worked for over a decade in the City, mainly at Goldman Sachs where I wrote many management reports, specifications, technical documents etc.
• Journalistic: I have written hundreds of reviews and interviews and the occasional set of sleeve notes; I have been reviews editor for Resonance Magazine and taught at the Cardiff School of Journalism.
• Creative: I have run various creative writing workshops and have most recently written a two-man theatrical piece performed at numerous venues including the Bridewell Theatre and the Museum of London.

I can therefore help you with essay-writing (including coursework, dissertations and exam essays), general business writing, copywriting (adverts, sales documents, press releases etc) and creative writing in poetry and prose.

As well as helping with advanced writing skills I can also give assistance with some more general literacy needs.
